OUR HISTORY
Harvey Altus has been practicing law in the greater Metro Detroit area for over 40 years and brings decades of experience to every case he takes. His son Jordan followed in his father’s footsteps and together they are Altus Law, P.C.

Harvey Altus
Harvey was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area. He attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate studies and received his degree in 1976. Shortly thereafter he was accepted into Wayne State University Law School and graduated with his Doctorate in Law in 1979. Harvey’s experience in many areas of law makes him a very versatile asset for his clients. During the past 40+ years he has specialized in Bankruptcy Law and has defended the rights of his clients in Civil Litigation matters, many coming back for his help for years. With over 40 years of experience under his belt, Harvey brings extraordinary knowledge and professionalism to every case he takes on. He is ready, willing and able to do whatever it takes to make sure his clients are given their best chance at success.

Jordan Altus
Jordan, like his father Harvey, was also born and raised in the Metro Detroit area. He attended Michigan State University for his undergraduate studies and Western Michigan University Cooley Law School for his legal studies. In 2017 Jordan graduated with a Doctorate in Law. Jordan brings energy, determination, and an exceptional knowledge of the law to every case he takes on, and will do whatever it takes to make sure his clients are represented properly.
